Surely you've heard this phrase, "Laugh the whole world will laugh." It turned out that this expression is not a figment. According to a recent study shows that laughter really can be contagious.

The brain will respond to the sound of laughter and connecting the facial muscles in preparation to join the expression of joy.

If you see someone laugh or read a story that describes about laughing, without realizing someone would smile or laugh. If yawning can be contagious, it can also be contagious laugh. This is justified by Sophie Scott, a neuroscientist at University College London.

All of this vote will trigger a response in the premotor cortical region of the brain that prepares facial muscles to move in accordance with an audible voice.

"The response will be much higher and more spread of positive votes than negative votes. This is what forced someone involved in a smile when he saw or heard other people laugh," said Scott.
